      Why yes, you batteries ARE required

      I've seen so many of these faux flowers on the Internet that when I finally came across a purple one, I couldn't resist getting it for my wife for her birthday.The box is part of the presentation and unfolds with great fanfare, with foam hearts on the cardboard interior keeping everything in place. The flowers themselves are lovely, and it's all encased in a glass cover that can be easily removed, so if things shift (which they inevitably will) you can readjust.It's all powered by 3 AAA batteries. The description asks if batteries are required and it indicates "no" but that's not true. If you want this to light up, you need batteries and they're not included so prepare accordingly.But other than that issue (yes, I forgot to check if batteries were included), this makes a great gift!

      pretty rose, my wife liked it

      my wife liked this, its more unique than the usual forever rose things because it has lights and added decorations. the box it comes in is really nice, like better than most I've seen. the rose and moss stuff inside looks real but I'm not sure as others had doubts.their customer service is top notch which is always a plus in my book, i had the first rose arrive with a crack in the glass, after chatting they quickly sent a replacement out. given the quality of the rose, the extra attention to the packaging, and the prompt service i received i would recommend them.

      Pretty purple flowers

      This is a beautiful set of handmade preserved flowers in a royal purple color.It has 3 heads of handmade natural roses and other decorative elements in a matching tone.The base takes 3 AAA batteries, not included, which power LED fairy lights inside the dome.My only complaint is you have to be careful unpacking it. The plastic cling wrap is tight and you have to be patient removing it.This would make a thoughtful gift.
