  Did The Flavor Change With The Can Redesign?

  I’ve been enjoying Zoa over every other energy drink for the last couple years. Of all the flavors of all of the energy drinks, “tropical fruit” or “fruit punch” flavors are my favorite. Zoa’s Tropical Punch went to the top of my list at first taste. I like that they keep their drinks natural and low-to-no sugar.I do have some issues with their recent can redesign, though. Having that bright red and black can was easy to spot while shopping. In my mind, red equals tropical/fruit punch. Changing to a blue can design for this flavor doesn’t make sense to me as far as having a customer quickly and easily identify flavor.More importantly, the first batch I ordered post-red cans tastes like a different formula. Has it changed? No clue. But now I’m always going to wonder if the flavor was intentionally changed along with the can.I’ll still order these, but probably less frequently than before. Rockstar Fruit Punch has a better chance of being ordered as my primary energy drink of choice now.

  Delicious!

  Never been a fan of any energy drinks, weather it was the flavor or the crazy amounts of unhealthy additives. These are completely different. They are both delicious and you can tell they are healthier than the average sugar substitutes that are added in other brands.The flavor options are extensive and I like the fruity options. The main thing I enjoy is the ability to finally have a healthier alternative to major brands that have been around forever.

  Great Flavor Ruined by Horrible Smell

  So I shared the can with a friend; poured out half into a cup and I kept the other half in the can. The flavor was good and the energy effects were great and what I was expecting/hoping for. However I smelled something funky every time I took a sip. To me, it smelled like canned cat food. I thought it was the can so I tried wiping the can more (as I always do when drinking canned drinks) to no avail, the smell stayed.I hadn't mentioned my opinions yet to said friend, but I had asked her what she thought of the drink. She said there was a weird smell or aftertaste that she couldn't quite pinpoint. So therefore it was not just me, nor just the can itself. Unfortunately I can not return the product, but I am not a huge fan and did cancel my subscribe & save that I had originally set up for these drinks.

  Love that it's zero sugar but gives a boost!

  Loved the taste and the boost it gives. The taste is good, but not too sweet. The case did arrive with one that exploded, but that's probably just careless merchandising or delivery.

  Flavor is great!

  We were a little apprehensive on this, but the flavor is not over powering and this is a great alternative to my afternoon coffee. I smell what The Rock had cooked....
