      False Advertisement...these are definitely NOT heavy duty pipes!

      I bought 3 sets of these faux pipes. All 12 of the pipes were very light weight. They are not heavy duty in any shape or form.I am building wall shelves (i.e. 2" x 12" x 16feet) and have previously bought 19 industrial pipes that are definitely heavy in weight and can be used as gas pipes. But these 12 pipes are nothing but decorative. These pipes have a very thin aluminum or steel. They are not iron like the ones in HomeDepot.You will be disappointed if you're looking for real heavy duty industrial gas pipes for your shelves.

      I would buy them again if I needed more.

      I put up two 12 ft shelves using one set of brackets (4) supports on each shelf. The shelves were mounted over double door so I couldn't use conventional brackets. These brackets worked out great. They even came with easy to use plastic anchors with black screws to match the anchors. The overall weight of the shelf / brackets was a concern of mine but I that wasn't a problem. These brackets are lighter and less expensive than going to a big box store and buying the parts. The paint / finish was perfect.

      Looks Great

      I was skeptical of these as I had read several reviews about the anchors not being good. These shelf brackets are sturdy and the anchors work just fine. I used these for decorative shelves in the bathroom. There won’t be a ton of weight on them so the anchors are great. I can see that if you want the shelves loaded with weight, you should buy separate heavier anchors to support the brackets. Otherwise they were simple to install and came just as expected.

      Mismatched in size and color!

      I purchased this product in a 6 pack and a 4pack as I needed 9 total brackets. The 6 pack was in a gunmetal gray despite them being listed as black. They were also missing one flange. The 4pack were black, and were actually 1/2” shorter than the pipes in the 6 pack. I reordered the 6 pack thinking that at least they would match the previous 6. No. This 6 pack is black and is 1/2” longer than the gray pipes.Now I have 16 mismatched pipes, I still can’t complete this project and it’s past the deadline to return the first two boxes. Very frustrating. Definitely wouldn’t expect these to match if you buy more than one set. Who knows who is picking the orders what you will get!

      Pipe brackets are expensive but these were cheapest I found and solid

      Pipe brackets are expressive! And for my homemade shelves I needed a lot! I’m the end it was cheaper than buying and fabricating brackets from scratch because I would’ve had to buy a threader after cutting pipe down and flanges aren’t cheap! I used them without the anchors directly in the stud and they are holding a 12x10ft shelf easily!
