  If you're breastfeeding you need to read this.

  Love these bottles. They are great for when I pump and Dad or grandparents feed my son. A lot of parts to them but he doesn't seem to have gas often afterwards so they work like they are supposed to. They come with size 1 nipple which I do not reccomend for a breastfed baby. They tend to just pour milk in my sons mouth so going from bottle to breast again doesn't go very smoothly but the size 0 nipples are a much slower flow and are available. They are petty cheap. They work way better than the size 1.

  DO NOT BUY

  Where do I even start. First off you need to separate all 6 parts in order to wash. You cant heat the bottle w nopple on it. They do not always close right (which is beyond frustrating when its middle of the night and all the milk spills on your baby bc these bottles dont close right but look and feel like they did). They also do not fit the spectra pump, despite the description. Waste of money.

  We've tried a lot of bottles...

  We started with Tommee Tippee bottles, which I really, really don't like. The nipples on them go bad fast and the flow goes from 0- super slow to 1- the equivalent of a lvl 2 on most bottles. We tried Philips Avent (which didn't allow her to have good suction), Boon (which I liked, but require special steamers and the silicone tends to bend if you're not careful), and finally Mam.We decided to keep using Mam and the reason is because of the nipple. It's a great shape and the flow levels are good. What I don't like about Mam is the bottles. The bigger bottles are long and awkward. They have 3 pieces + the nipple. There is an extra silicone insert which makes cleaning slightly more involved (and don't accidentally forget it with your eyes half closed at 3 am or your milk will leak out the bottom). I dislike that these bottles can sometimes squeak when baby drinks and it can wake baby.Still, the nipple on this is an ideal shape, so we keep on using it.

  Pump directly into these with Spectra; only bottle our baby takes

  We LOVE this bottle because it ended up being the only one our bottle-refusing exclusively breastfed baby would take after months of experimentation and frustration. Every baby is different and we know other bottle refusers who ended up taking other bottles, so I think this was just a fluke of our particular baby and her latch. Still, we secretly worship this bottle.A couple of notes:1) Yeah, it's got 6 parts so it's kind of annoying to clean, but on the plus side you can clean each part well with just a dish sponge (no special bottle brush needed - good for on-the-go).2) I pump directly into these with my Spectra S2. The flanges that the Spectra come with don't screw *perfectly* onto the bottles... it's like something is off with the threading... BUT, I screw it on anyway, ignoring the mismatched threads and carefully tightening it only to the point where the bottle won't fall off. It will look crooked, but it works and saves you the hassle of transferring. Been doing this for 9 months now with the same bottles, and there's been no damage to the bottles or flanges.

  Game changer for gassy babies!

  After weeks of having a miserable newborn and changing formula many times, we opted to try new bottles. After reading tons of reviews these seemed like the best option. I am soooo glad we bought them. The design makes sense and basically allows air to escape through the bottom of the bottle so the infant isn’t swallowing as much air. They come completely apart and are super easy to wash. The lids have a little flap on the side so they can be removed easily (which are soooo much better than other brands where you can’t get the lid off). The smaller bottles come with the level one nipple which is the newborn flow. We now have an 8 week old and just upgraded to the larger bottles and level 2 nipples. I will highly recommend these to all of our friends with littles who have gas troubles.
