      For years, I have seen butchers and meat cutters use these not paying it any thought until I started trimming my own meats. After cutting, nicking and bruising myself, I said no more of this and ordered my own. Heads up as they have a metal glove or another lesser type of material. Go metal. Cleans up good too

      I ordered this cut resistant left hand glove after a recent trip to the Emergency Room for stitches in a finger cut by my rotary cutter when my ruler slipped on the fabric I was cutting and my finger had been too close to the ruler's edge. 4 stitches and much pain later, I tried this glove.It helps me remember to correctly position my hand well away from the cutting edge of the quilting ruler. If it should happen to slip, the 2 layers of the glove will get cut first. Hopefully this will keep me out of the ER.

      I bought this for butchering wild hogs. Anyone who has ever accidentally cut themselves during the process knows how bad the infection is. The glove fits my hand very well and is comfortable to wear for prolonged periods too. Because it's cut resistant, the time it takes to finish the job has been reduced dramatically, since I'm not as worried about injury. So far as value is concerned, the cost is much less then my insurance copay at the doctors office to treat what would be a terrible infection from a slip of the knife.

      The glove fits my large hand without discomfort. The wire mesh is fine enough that a slipping knife doesn't hang up in the fine wire. I was surprised how well I could feel through the glove.
