About

The TEKTON 1/2 Inch Drive 6-Point Socket & Ratchet Set includes every socket from 3/8 to 1-5/16 inch and 10 to 32 mm with no skipped sizes. The set comes equipped with a 90-Tooth quick-release ratchet as well as a universal joint and extension, which aren’t often found in most sets. All of the tools come stored in a sturdy carrying case.

  • Complete set has every size from 3/8 to 1-5/16 inch and 10 to 32 mm in both deep and standard lengths
  • 6-point sockets apply force to flat sides of fasteners and not the corners, preventing round-off
  • Extra large die-stamped size marking is easy to read and can’t wear off

  • Finely geared 90-tooth ratchet needs only a 4-degree working swing arc

      This is a beast of a 1/2 drive socket set, (close to 40lbs or 18.23 kgs) , I bought the 83 piece set after my experience of using two other Tekton socket sets, a 1/4 drive and a 3/8 drive sets, they are all considered a Prosumer set, I would describe them as (tool truck quality of Chineese tools) , everything about this set is outstanding quality, there is absolutely nothing about all three of the sets I do not like, I started out using Tekton brand with the purchase of a 1/4 drive socket set, which was better than anything I used, and then bought the 3/8 drive set with same positive experience, even the cases for all three sets have quality second to none, all the parts of the sets can be removed and reinstalled without a major effort of trying to force sockets back into their place by tilting one end of socket or ratchet with minimal force and a full set can be dropped on cement floor, picked up and everything stays in place, all three of my sets are the best tools I have ever used.

      No complaints, sorry it's not American made but I refuse to buy something that's 4 times the price with the same quality as the made in China. I don't like the fact that it's not American made but something has to change and soon.

      I have been using tekton products for quite some time now. I work in industrial maintenance and the 3/8 set has always kept up really really well. I got this 1/2 set because I needed some bigger sockets for a job and it has worked out incredibly well. I have had to get my 3/8 breaker bar replaced before but the process only took a couple minutes and I had a replacement within a week.
