      Excellent Quality - Needs some initial adjustment to properly fit your feet

      This is a great quality product. The fit seems a bit oversize, but it's hard to tell whether a smaller size would work better. I should have ordered two sizes and kept the best fit. Many reviews said these "never cause blisters." I haven't worn sandals like these, so I got a blister on my first wearing. These are several velcro straps and you need to adjust these to give the correct fit. It took me a couple of wears to get the fit right. I like how sturdy these are, and once properly adjusted, they have worked well for me.

      These are tough, good in the wet or dry

      I'm one of those people who can't stand flip-flops because of the strap between big toe and the rest. These eliminate that problem. Moreover they won't come off your feet. The design is rugged and even provides some arch support, unusual in a sandal. They are very well designed and the velcro straps make them easy to put on and take off. They dry out very quickly so are good where you might have to get them wet. I've used mine paddle boarding, which included stepping off from a muddy bottom. They rinsed right off without my even taking them off my feet and were dry well before I got back. They are a good choice for both water sports and just to wear around. I find them to be comfortable enough to have used them for walking 1 or 2 miles many times (but not where there are roots or rocks ... that requires a hiking sandal that protects the toes). They are also nice looking on my foot.

      Work great

      These are comfortable. I have worn on the beach to play volleyball. I have used hiking in rivers and have used on a limited basis to trail hike. They are great. I like the open toe, water and sand and stones wash out easily so i done have to take off all the time to clear,

      Ditched my Birkis for these

      I had a pair of OG Tevas I bought at that big Maine retailer in the 90s. Loved them, wore them clean out. I next bought Birkenstock Arizonas. Wore those for 15 years and forgot all about Tevas. The Birkis finally wore out and the new ones I got to replace them were a sufferfest. Brutally painful and couldn't wear them for more than 15 minutes. I got a pair of new Teva Hurricane XLT2s and as soon as I put them on, the clouds parted and the heavenly choir sang. Love these, comfortable as anything, and they stay put on my feet.

      Classic style still fits and wears well

      These are exactly like previous pair that lasted many years. Same comfort for walking/river use and great fit.
