      1 year and I am happy with these

      I have had these headlights for a year now and have been working the nightshift for the past several months so that really allowed me to put these to the test. These are a nice upgrade from the standard bulbs. The white really shows with these compared to the old bulbs which would turn a yellowish over time.I installed these in a low beam projector on a 15 Kia Forte, I have been told LEDs usually don't play well with projector headlight assemblies. There is only a couple really small dark spots in them when parked up close to something like a few feet from a building but as far as on the road you get a really nice spill and dont notice any dark spots.I did have some flickering issues with these at times when i first installed them, I contacted BeamTech about it and they sent me the decoder/resistor to install (at no extra charge). They came in about a week later and I have not had anymore flickering issues since. Thanks for taking care of me.These may be real snug when installing as the base is aluminum and not steal and plastic like the OEM. I really did get lucky installing the decoder because my headlight assembly has the caps on the back and it all just barely fit in there.I have noticed a few reviews saying that they have had overheating problems. I have checked mine a few times and have seen no signs of overheating on mine.

      Bright but not TOO bright (a good thing!). Heat output within safe range.

      Many negative reviews had issues with installation being difficult or feeling like the bulbs were too hot. A few points:1) Make sure you look at the bulbs and that the number of rubber o-rings around the base makes the gap the same as your original bulb. My package, one of the bulbs had 2 rings on it that made installation impossible. Removing that made it easy. Also there are adapters for different vehicles supposedly.2) I spoke to a young guy at the Toyota parts department at a local dealer and he said that some amount of heat from the bulbs is fine and that the wiring harness is meant to withstand it to a certain point. He said as long as the actual outside housing (the plastic part the light shines through) is not getting hot, then the bulbs are probably fine. Had my lights running for 8+ hours and felt zero heat afterward on the outside. So I'm thinking they're ok.As for the actual lights, they're good and bright, but not so bright that I feel it is a burden for other drivers (I HATE THAT). I personally light a more natural color, but it's hard to find LEDs in that color temp so this will work fine. Price is right. Yeah I'd recommend.

      Pros:*White light, 6,500k*Plug and Play (just like changing out a halogen lightbulb). HIDs usually are accompanied by a ballast. And over time, your ballast will need to be changed out as I've noticed the brightness of my HIDs got dimmer over the years. I don't think these LEDs will have this issue.*Does not shine into other's drivers. It's design to have a cut off at the right area. I drive a sedan, and going up to people's cars, it only goes up to their door handles. I prefer this as it's classier than having my old HIDs. It used to be shining into people's rear mirror as I drive up behind them.Cons:*It advertises as 12,000 lumens, but it's not as bright as other cars. I wish there was a bit more brightness to these.Other than that, I'm pretty pleased with this purchase.

      I LOVE THESE ! Incredible light

      Super bright crisp white light in my truck and no one is flashing high beams so I'm going to say if the lights are aimed properly your not blinding othersI've had them in 5 months without issue, no fans but seem fine with some 2 hour night time trips

      Improvement over stock

      Got these for my 2014 Prius, installation was super simple and the lights are an improvement over stock. They have been installed for a little over a month now with no issues.
