  Like strapping a 2x4 to your foot

  I read the reviews, and all I can say is that some people must have magic feet. These shoes were (are) immediately uncomfortable and only got worse. I replaced the insoles TWICE within the first two weeks and neither type could overcome the completely flat, rigid sole. I Mr. Rogers those things- get to work, pull them out of a drawer, wear them until I clock out, then put NORMAL shoes on. They should last a good long time since the only time I'll EVER put them on is at work. I could have returned them, whoop-de-do, but I really hate the whole stupid process. Lesson learned.

  fantastic shoe even compared to non-hard toed!

  i needed hard toed work shoes for an onsite work visit and wanted to get a multi-tasker that i could still run in so i didn't have to pack an extra pair. these not only look amazing (and yes they are entirely blue even though the flex weave showed up as black on my screen), but there was absolutely no break in period. they are extraordinarily comfortable both the upper (not grating) and the lower (lots of padding without a whole lot of heel-toe drop which was important for me since i'm a minimalist runner). i thought they would be stiff and they even felt a little heavy when i first picked them up out of the box (too used to runners!) but i haven't felt any weight or stiffness issues from even my first run. and finally, for anyone who likes researching products to death before purchasing, i was concerned that an alloyed shoe (lighter than steel but more protective than composite) would not offer any insulation and they are definitely well insulated for someone who gets cold feet! but hence a little on the warm side when running. on the flip side, they are comfortable and warm enough to wear barefoot and sockless :)one ding (hence 4 stars), the insoles are not removable for washing! they are glued in so if you try to take them out they will rip... this is not the best design given insoles can start to smell after a lot of use

  Except for the insoles, this are Great!

  Due to athlete’s foot problem I started using two pairs of shoes, alternating each daily, problem solved.My 1rst pair are timberland safety work boots and the 2nd were my old converse safety toe sneakers. This last pair where on my closed for years and when I started using them again they just come apart after few weeks, too old I believed.So looking for a new pair of safety sneaker (I need safety shoes at work) I found this Reebok, so far I’m happy with my purchase, they look just as regular sneakers, are light and comfortable. I work at a store and even when working on the computer i stay on my feet most of the day (10 hours). The insole are not bad unless you want to remove them for cleaning, they are stick to the inside with tape so when I removed them one torn apart, material is too thin. I replaced then with a pair of physix Gear soles.How they fit? Not bad, a little small for what I like but still comfortable all day. Recommend!

  UPDATE : Had these a little over 30 days and originally the steel toe portion was hurting my toes I had bought a size wider thinking it would help . These shoes are terrible the padding started falling apart around the ankle . I requested a return and was told I could send them back as long as they still look new ... I wore them for work and they fell apart ; how can they still look new? Regular Nike’s hold up longer and better than these. My advise is get something else if you want safety shoes.

  Wouldn’t but again

  Unfortunately this is the most uncomfortable safety shoe I’ve ever worn, the footbed actually makes a U And has less than no support. Even with my own orthotics inserted, it still caves inward. It’s a good look ing show and really wanted it to work out :(
