  Great Idea Turns Into A Great Product

  When I saw these wheels I instantly ordered one set to check them out. Two thoughts directed this action.First, the stock wheels that are on office chairs are horrible. This is common between a $750.00 chair and a $60.00 chair.Second, I thought about a different wheel configuration years ago because I have many vintage and antique rugs from the middle east on my wood floors, and I hated when the rugs got bunched up under the wheels.The stock wheels have a very small diameter, are cheap, very hard, loud, and they can fracture and break.The cheap, stock wheels were the end to inclined driveway office chair races I used to hold on Saturday afternoons at my place, much to the displeasure of the local sherrif's department. Just so it's clear, we did wear helmets. If we had these wheels back then, we would be riding the chairs in empty pools, performing like the best skateboarders around.The wheels are very nice. They have real bearings (which are not the best, but when you start with no bearings at all, it's already a winner) and polyurethane wheels with a noticably larger diameter to prevent carpet and rug problems.The wheels are also quiet, very quiet, on wood floors. The compound used in the wheels is just about perfect for the application.To make a long story short, I ordered two additional sets for home and one for my office at work. Truthfully, there are few products that almost immediatly increase your quality of life, These wheels are one of those products. The only downside, which could actually be an upside, is the chair sits a little bit higher due to the increaed diameter of the wheels. I have got used it and just lower the chair to compensate.If you have ever cursed office chair wheels for any reason, you must try a set of these wheels. Remember your quality of life.

  I’m absolutely impressed on how well these wheels work.

  I have a small office space with regular carpet & pad. So I started covering the carpet area with office pads that are designed for office chairs on carpeting. It work for little bit. Possibly a year or two… Cracks started accruing On my pads, and this isn’t good for your carpet nor your chair plus i through my back out trying to roll around. NOT FUN! Replacing the wheels? Wow! It never dawned on me about replacing the wheels.! At the time of purchase, both office chairs and pads were brand new. Fast forward some two years later. I’m in the market for just one new chair and replacing most of the damaged pads. As I’m putting chair into cart… You all know, that little pop up “some purchased this item also.” Usually I don’t pay much attention to these sorts of distractions. Except this time! I see this design wheel and Said NO BRAINER. This replacement wheels are the answer to my problem! So I went ahead and added two sets of them into cart. Not even looking at reviews! Not something I pass on when doing a online purchase. But a light went off seeing the difference in design. I was convinced. They’ll do the job. My instincts were spot on! As soon as they arrived. I slapped those bad boys on! Let’s just say, I’m glad I purchased decided on looking at that pop up! My experience using them are absolutely night and day difference. Rolling around my office work space quietly and no getting stuck! So little effort movement . Take my advice peeps! If you’re using those standard little plastic wheels that most office chairs come equipped with. Please, do yourself a favor. Go with these replacement wheels. You’ll be glad you did and possibly save yourself little bit of money in the long run! Great products guys. Keep it up! Thanks Amy, for showing me a different way to roll!

  Fabulous!

  I bought a nice gaming chair for myself last year, and while the chair itself is still perfectly fine, one of the wheels recently broke. You'd think that a pricey chair would come with good wheels, but alas, it came with the same plastic wheels that every office-like chair comes with. I found these while looking for replacements and thought they sounded too good to be true, but I didn't want to buy another set of the generic plastic ones only to have them break on me again. So I figured there was no harm in trying something different.These wheels are fabulous! They're a cinch to install and they glide like air even on the carpet in my room (the old wheels tended to get stuck even before one of them broke). If my chair ever dies, I will be saving these wheels to install on my next chair. Absolutely amazing upgrade!

  Great alternative for chair mat

  I bought these as an alternative to buying a new chair mat for work. The mat was around 20 years old, so I did get my usage out of it. But it finally developed cracks. The mats are never quite the right size are they? My old wheels that came with my Hon chair would gather carpet fibers and every bit of debris and were hard to roll. I included pictures of my old wheels, I think they are standard on most chairs. While I was searching for a new mat, these wheels came up in the search.These wheels are amazing. They pop in the base of the chair very easily and roll like a dream. They are super quiet which is great for work. They are taller than the replacement wheels so you will need to adjust your chair height. My coworker tried them out and tried to steal my chair, lol. So I purchased 2 more pairs. It came with a lovely thank you card from the business, a very nice touch.I also like that this is supporting a small family Business.

  DO NOT USE WITH PLSTIC BASES

  Is this a good product? Well... so far... now I've fitted these to a chair with a metal base, yes they are a great product, I'm able to effortlessly scoot about my office on my spare office chair, and they fitted perfectly. Time will tell if they are study, and if they fail, I'll update the review accordingly.However these are getting a 2* review because here is something they don't tell you in the product info and they really, really should. Due to these wheels being a larger diameter than a standard wheel and the axles being further offset from centre than a normal wheel, the contact patch with the floor is further away from the stem. This puts more stress on your seat base where the stem slides in. Most seats will probably handle this fine if they've got a study metal base. My seat with a plastic base did not, and as a result did not handle this fine. Where the stem goes broke, and as a result my Nitro Concepts S300 is now sitting useless in the corner until I can get another base for it.Luckily for me I have a pretty decent spare chair that does have a metal base. You might not not, and if you're working from home could cause you all kinds of grief, so if you've got a seat with a plastic base just give these a miss, the risk isn't worth it, get a floor mat or something instead. I know I very nearly ended up having to work tomorrow on a camping chair which would have been a huge literal pain in my backside.The seller makes a huge point about why you should not fit these to an Ikea chair, but utterly fails to mention that this design is not suitable for plastic based chairs. This needs addressing.**UPDATE**So I bought a new chair to replace the one these wheels broke, and these wheels are too high for it, even at it's lowest setting the chair is still too high to use on these wheels. They are considerably taller than the standard wheels that you'd normally find on an office chair, so I suppose not that surprising really. Anyway that's another thing you need to consider if buying these. Honestly I just think if you want an easy life, and don't want to worry about if these will break your chair, or if your chair has suitable height adjustment, just give these a miss. They're great for scooting about on, but potentially more trouble than they're worth.
