      No liner is on this bottle

      I just opened this and although the plastic strip was there covering the cap, when I unscrewed the cap I noticed right away that there was no tamper evident safety liner in place. (Adhesive sticker that sits on top of the bottle sealing in the freshness of the powder.) I can't help but to question the integrity of this product and I wonder what this green powder really is??? I will be sure in the future to only order Barley Green from the company Y H International. I have been using Barleygreen since 1995 and the seal has always been there.

      The best, freshest most pure dried barley powder you can buy!

      My extended family has used this for many years - it helped an Aunt overcome a terrible affliction when doctors, surgeries and medication didn't. It works at a cellular level to meet the cells' need for the nutrition we don't get from this modern, highly refined & processed/fast food world we live in. I didn't take it for many years because I didn't think I needed it, but I am 66 now and learning I'd better take better care of my body if I want to have a decent old age experience and avoid a nursing home. I know I don't eat right (not enough veggies), so when I take this here's what I personally experience: 1) better BMs, 2) I seem to be able to think/process things easier 3) generally just feel better and lastly 4) it prevents that nonenal smell that we get as we age (think nursing home stink). Expensive, but cheaper than a doctor!

      It was first recommended to me by Lorraine day

      This product has been around for years now, but it still has the same quality. It was first recommended to me by Lorraine day, an orthopedist surgeon who treated herself naturally for cancer. Since then, my father, 79yrs old with prostrate cancer, takes it everyday and reminds me constantly to get some more time he gets low on his supplies. I have tried some other barley greens, but none taste or dissolve as easily as this one. The sweetener, maltodextrine, does not get absorbed but it makes the difference in how often or consistently consumption is desired.

      The Best

      Have always liked this for many years. It isn't as bright in color as some but it is potent and give energy with the kelp in it. This is one of the healthiest foods you can eat. I like to mix it with EmergenC Orange flavor like a drink, not too strong and it covers the barley taste. I add a little beets or whatever I happen to have. I even sprinkle it on foods I think I shouldn't be eating to take a little guilt away like caseroles. :)
