  Works but there is a trick to using it

  Works well but must use and night or overcast day, I soak the yard with water before and then spray 1 bottle on my small area. I spray about 25% of the bottle then wait about 30 mins then do it again, I try and keep it wet for a few hours. The smell will be there for about a day or so then once grass drys out the smell is gone. I have two dogs and it lasts about 2 to 3 weeks before the smell gets really bad. I should do it weekly in the summer but can usually get away with it every two weeks. In the winter I only do it maybe once a month. We live in Phoenix so the artificial turf gets smelling real bad when it's over 100.

  Trick to using it

  It works very well. Here's the trick- I'm a biochemist my education. Apply it heavy. I use a quart for 200-250 sq ft. After application, go back and soak the dirt with the sprayer and empty bottle.Why? Enzymes only work when in a liquid, they don't when the dirt is dry. Soaking the dirt gets the enzymes to where the urine is, and gives it a chance to neutralize the odor forming molecules.Try it and see.

  Made my dogs sick!

  Waste of money and my dogs got sick!!!!! I have two dogs and I followed the directions for use and it did not remove the urine smell at ALL. On top of that my dogs played with toys that came into contact with the product before it dried and they got sick. My vet confirmed it was from this product as they are healthy pups and have not outstanding issues. Save the $ and the mess from sick animals, buy lavender or orange essential oil, some good ol fashion vinegar (I used organic but any vinegar will do). Get the hose sprayer attachment for deluding the liquid. You can buy it at the dollar store (it’s the bottle this product comes in that attaches to your hose)Mix 2 cups of vinegar to 28oz of waterAnd a few drops of essential oil- this is just to mask the vinegar smellClean up solid animal mess on your turfSpray away, careful not to puddle as it will take longer to dryKeep the container for future usesWorks great and saves you money.   Bewildered dog, his existence erased; Updated

  After three months of hitting the same pee spot for training, the odor was truly abhorrent. I would avoid going anywhere near that side of the house, or even opening a window near it. I needed help. Fast. The reviews are spot on: it works, works well. I emptied about half a bottle on a 100 square foot area, which might have been overdoing it. I did it at night too, so it would not dry out quickly and had all night to work. The next morning, I was blown away: no smell, and I mean none. My dog ran out to his spot, and you could see his bewilderment. It's like I erased his existence. He sniffed all over, perplexed, glanced at me with a "what the heck" look. Finally, defeated, he started all over again.Now, after a few weeks, the smell is slowly rebounding. Looks like simple green will become part of my regular monthly routine.------------Just bought the larger jug. Hold on to the sprayer and do not throw it out! You can use it with the refill which is way more economical. Again, worked like a charm, even in the ivy.

  I use it for patio astroturf. This thing really works!!

  My adopted dog is scared of streets. When I first adopted her, she didn’t pee or poop for 24 hours no matter how much we walked her. She is doing well but still has her days, and for those days, we set up astroturf in the balcony. I gave this odor eliminator a try and It really works. I had in the past used other non-toxic solutions but this is great.– I use a big watering can instead of spray hose.– It is very important to use the recommended proportion. 8z of solution per gallon of water. If the odor is still strong hour after (such as in hot weather), I just increase the solution amount and the odor is totally gone. My watering can is 2 gallons, so I mix 16 oz of solution with the water at least. Don’t cheap out on the solution. I tried that and it was not worth the save.– Every time she pees there, I generously pour using watering can in that spot for about 10 seconds.– I do a weekly rinse of the overall astroturf once a week to help reduce the odor extra.
