      Don't Understand All The Good Reviews

      I really don't understand all the good reviews on these. I purchased due to all the good reviews. I wanted to replace my old HDMI cables with something more updated. Was very excited because price was fantastic. They arrived on time and in perfect condition. Very nice looking cables. Seems well made. I went ahead and swapped out the old for these new cables and put my entertainment center back together and couldn't wait to see the big improvement. What?? Image quality went in the toilet. Tried Cable TV and 4K Bluray. Made the image look like it was missing colors and almost posterized. Went into TV and 4k player settings and all was as it is supposed to be. Tried adjusting color, etc. No improvement. Cable TV had Return Of The Jedi on so I attempted to adjust to no avail. Turned everything off, removed these BlueRigger Rugged High Speed HDMI 2.0 Cables, and put my old cables on. Turned TV and Bluray back on and image was fantastic again. So - I don't know why the old cables are so much better than these. After some web-resesarch I think I'm going to go with AudioQuest Pearls or Forest cables. They are really pricey but what I've read there is a HUGE difference in image quality over cheap cables. Sorry BlueRigger for the negative review.

      Not suitable for 4k 60hz HDR

      I wasted too much time and money trying to figure out why I couldn't play 4k 60hz hdr content on my avr system.Do yourself a favor and buy a certified cable like monoprice if you plan on pushing bandwidth over your hdmi cables.

      NOT HDCP Compatible - DO NOT BUY

      I bought this cable to use with a 4K Apple TV. Apple does not provide an HDMI cable, and this one seemed like a good deal, but it doesn’t work as promised. Spend your money elsewhere.

      4K HDR and 4K Dolby Vision approved.

      I own 3 of these cables, two 3-foot cables to connect my Xbox and 4K Apple TV to my Marantz SR5012 receiver, and a 25-foot cable to connect my receiver to my LG OLED TV.These cables are simply fantastic. The construction quality is top notch, and they handle every format I have tried. 1080P, 4K HDR and 4K Dolby Vision. At least one review mentioned that 4K Dolby Vision didnt work, but my guess is that it was a hardware or setting issue on their end. I had to enable "enhanced" HDMI on my receiver, but once I did that, it worked flawlessly. I have half a mind to throw out every HDMI cable in my house, of which there are MANY, and simply start over with these. I have a drawer full of really expensive HDMI cables from about 5 years ago, and they dont hold a candle to these.The only thing to note, is that these are heavy duty cables. If you need to make a lot of twists and bends in your installation, i would go longer than you think you need. Otherwise, don't think twice. Paying $100+ for an HDMI cable is just plain stupid. Retailers push them because their markups are outrageous. HDMI cables are not like older video/audio cables where quality affected performance. HDMI cables are pass/fail, and these pass!!!

      Connected to a Roku 3 player for about 10 months...still looking new and working great!

      I have had this cable going on the better part of a year now. I used it to connect a Roku 3 to a wall mounted television. I don't know how performance compares to other cables, voltage specs or any of the other technical aspects. I just know that this cable works great for us. I had to snake this through the wall and it was a pleasure compared to the flimsy cables that my other equipment is connected to. This is a heavy duty cable with a nylon-like braided cover. This cable is THICK! We moved the Roku to a new location about six months ago. This meant that we had to disconnect this cable and pull it out of the wall before reconnecting it downstairs. Connections are still solid and the cable still looks brand new. We have been using this cable for the better part of a year and there is not display lag, display malfunction, etc. It definitely does it's job. This came packaged spooled in a clamshell cardboard box from Blue Rigger. Nothing else was in the box except Blue Rigger's warrranty. Next time I need another HDMI cable I will return here and purchase another. I would buy this item again.
